Wheeling in Ealing...

Transport Initiatives has been commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing to help implement their Cycling Strategy.

Studies have suggested that the Borough’s Asian community (24% of the population) have very low rates of cycling. To address this TI has been commissioned to engage with the Asian community in Southall. In Southall the death rates related to ill health due to obesity are high and the traffic congestion is notorious.

Transport Initiatives will be helping Ealing Council to identify groups of people willing to take part in cycle training, join easy bike rides and attend bike maintenance classes, with a view to sowing the seeds of cycling.
